Palauan dancers at a first birth ceremony. It's a big party for everyone except the new mom, who is covered in hot oil and stands in the sun for hours to let the evils of childbirth melt off her. or I think that's what I was told.

You're slowly, but surely, becoming a "cat lady".
I know. I got a little concerned when the number of cats in my household doubled the number of humans. I don't think I'm bringing them home though.
so kev, you should come here. I just sailed this amaaaazing boat yesterday and was out on the trapeze just flying all day. it was one of the coolest things Ive ever done.
